Sugar Detox Revisited

I had hoped that by making my sugar resolve public, I would have motivation to stick with it. That didn't happen. In fact, my mom called me while I was finishing a candy bar to tell me she was going to join me in my quest. Oh the irony. But now that it is a competition, I'm sure I'll stick with it. Feel free to join in. Just know that the addictiveness will really mess with you on day 2 or 3. For me that was Wednesday, and it seemed like I just couldn't get enough to eat! I had lots of fruit in hopes that the natural sugar and fiber would fill me. I also felt irritable and shaky! Now if that's not a signal of something bad for you, I don't know what is! But I know now to expect it, so we'll see how it goes this time. I will try to get my blog working with comment again soon, so feel free to join in with us :)

I'm in. The accountability is good for me. Unfortunately, we're making snickersoodles when Nolan gets home and they're sure to stick around longer if I don't indulge.

Okay! Here we go with a new week. We can do it girls! You have the little ones to thwart your plans. I have my friend Debbie Kiter who brings me Dove's chocolates for work. I love that girl! But we can do it, I know we can. Here's to the one who can hold out the longest. Mom

Um... I lost two hours after I started. And then I had sugar pretty much all weekend. But I'll try again. :)
