Here is our little Mason, in all his splendor :)This isn't a shot of whatever they saw yesterday. I would like to thank everyone again for their prayers and fasting. I feel even more confident that our little Mason is going to be A-OK. Even though I didn't feel anxious about his ultrasound, I asked Devin for a priesthood blessing. It only reaffirmed my feelings of peace and calm, as did 2 Timothy 1:7; thanks mom! Anyway, while Devin was blessing me, Courtney climbed up next to me on the couch and put her hands on my head too! Hmm, I hope that doesn't void the blessing :) Thank you all for being a wonderful family!

Linear light echogenicity with a small area of cystic change

That is what my ultrasound found. The first 3 words mean that the ultrasound didn't receive as strong of a signal as other areas at other times. The doctor doesn't really know what it all means; she doesn't even know if it could cause problems for Mason. But Mason should've got this scan a few months ago, and the technician told me before she started the ultrasound that Mason would be so big now that he could obscure the results (hence the light echogenicity, I think). I am a little freaked out, but my motherly intuition hasn't spiked out of control, so I think it's nothing, but we'll see in a few weeks when I go back for another ultrasound with a specialist. Thanks in advance for your prayers :)

Quick Update

Courtney has been as cute and fun as ever, I just don't always have a good camera handy to capture it all. This story though doesn't need a camera. Last night we started teaching her how to pray. I told her we need to say what we're thankful for, which is for things that make us happy.
Me-"What makes you happy little fetus?"
Courtney(without hesitating even a second)-"Jesus Christ!"

Chinese Fakeout

What you are about to see is a plate of food for which I'd like to extend a special thanks to my favorite, older, red-headed brother, Jordan. Without him, I wouldn't be eating these...

...POTSTICKERS!!! They are an Asian (Jordan learned to make them in Japan, I've seen them in Chinese restaurants, so I'm iffy on the origin) delicacy that are so delicious! There was another plate, but I burned them. That's when I called Jordan and he saved the day. So anyways, thanks for being awesome Jordan.

My mom makes the BEST peanut butter bonbons. I decided to give them a try yesterday, and they turned out great! I wanted to add a little flair by drizzling white chocolate over top, but it wouldn't melt; as it got hotter it just got crumbly. Oh well, my taste buds can't tell the difference :)


Also, this morning, I turned my back for just a second, but it happened to be a second when Courtney decided she was dirty and needed a "bubble bath". So she climbed into the ottoman and lounged in the "bubbles" made by my pom poms :) What a dorkus.
